Waipoua Forest Fun Run/Walk: 2008
The inaugural 2008 Waipoua Forest Fun Run/Walk, held on 15 June, was a unique and successful event. The event was enjoyed by 145 particpants and many well wishers and onlookers.
We would like to congratulate Richie Crawshaw, Tessa Taylor and Tiani Sarich; the first male, female and junior runners to cross the line.
We would like to also take this opportunity to acknowledge all the sponsors, volunteers and participants and in particular the Reborn Eco Tours Group from Japan. The 29 participants and 4 support crew truly gave this event an international feel and was an occasion for all to treasure.
